RECREATIONAL SERVICES
Recreational Services staff within Bournemouth & West Hampshire Water manage the moorings and fishing activities within Christchurch Harbour and at Longham.
The company owns two thirds of Christchurch Harbour together with the tidal reaches of both rivers the Avon and Stour. In addition the recent construction of reservoirs at Longham Lakes has complemented the fishing activities available on the River Stour at Longham.

MOORINGS
The Royalty Moorings reach down from the River Avon and Stour and cover approximately three-quarters of the harbour. Within this area is a range of moorings from bankside and pontoon moorings in the river to self laid moorings in the harbour. Our aim is to maintain 100% occupancy of our mooring facilities and we let from our waiting list when a mooring becomes vacant. However occasionally there may be a vacancy which does not suit the requirements of those on the waiting list. All current vacancies are listed below.
