Tariffs and bills
If you use less than 10,000 cubic metres of water a year, we will charge our standard volumetric rate plus a standing charge related to the size of the meter at your premises.
If you use more than 10,000 cubic metres a year, we have large user tariffs that we will offer you if we believe that they could benefit you. These have a seasonal aspect to them, with the volumetric charge being higher than the standard rate between June, July and August and lower than the standard rate during the rest of the year. Businesses on these tariffs that are able to influence their water use away from the summer months can save money against standard rates.

Are you having trouble paying your bills?
If you are having problems paying your bill please do not ignore them. Contact our Debt Recovery Department on 01202 590059. Our staff are specially trained to give you advice and assistance. You have to pay for your water services and although we cannot change that, we can make it easier.
We will try to agree on how you can pay the bill within a reasonable period in amounts that you can afford.
If we make an agreement, you will able to pay monthly by Direct Debit,
We will keep to our side of the agreement and you must keep to yours. Failure to pay the bill or keep to an agreement will result in your water supply being disconnected or legal action taken, which will mean that you will incur extra costs.
We are also entitled to add interest on overdue accounts at 8% above the Bank of England rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
