Pay online using BillPay The service is free to use and is available 24 hours a day throughout the year. To use the service you must be a customer of a UK bank or building society, hold a debit or credit card and have an active email address. New users will be asked to complete a registration form online. The Bournemouth & West Hampshire Water payment card can be used to pay your water bill by instalments at over 100 PayPoint outlets within our region and a further 20,000 throughout the UK. This service is free of charge and offers more flexibility by allowing you to pay weekly if you prefer e.g., if your monthly payment is £20, you can pay this at £5 per week over 4 weeks. Call us free of charge on 0800 3895110 to pay your bill. This service is available 24 hours a day. Please make sure you have your debit or credit card and your bill handy. Please make cheques or postal orders payable to Bournemouth & West Hampshire Water Plc. You should also send the payment slip with the cheque unless you need a receipt. In this case please send the whole bill. Please do not send cash in the post. You can set up payment with your own bank’s phone or internet service. Our banking details are: account number 02398451, sort code 30-00-00. You will also need the twelve digit account number shown on the front of your bill. For example if your account number is 123 456 7890 12 then the reference number for payment is 123456789012. You can keep on top of bills and statements electronically through your bank account, by using this free service. It’s simple to set up and lets you view, track and pay your water bill – and others – through your online bank account.

Please complete the payment slip and hand it in with the bill and your payment. Cheques should be made payable to Bournemouth & West Hampshire Water Plc. The bank will stamp the bill and give it back as proof of payment. If you pay by cheque at your own branch or at any branch of Lloyds TSB Bank within our area of supply, the bank will not normally make a charge. Please fill in the payment slip and hand in the whole bill with a cash payment. Cheques are not accepted. The bill will be stamped by the post office and given back as proof of payment. The post office makes a charge for this service. If you are claiming Income Support, Pension Credit or Job Seekers’ Allowance, Jobcentre Plus may pay your bill out of your benefit directly to us. Please telephone, write to us or contact your Jobcentre Plus. In certain circumstances we can arrange for customers who are in debt and have no other method of payment to choose our monthly cash collection round service. Contact us on 01202 597101 to speak to our Collection Round Manager. You may pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly using an instalment book. Please note: we cannot offer this facility should you default on making a payment. If you wish to use this facility, please contact us on 01202 590059. In some instances a charge may be made for this service - such as at the Post Office.

How do we calculate your bill? Your bill is made up of a: · fixed (standing) charge · calculated variable charge If you have a meter you pay for the actual water you use. If you don’t have a meter, your bill is based on the Rateable Value (RV) of your property. Please note: rateable values were last set by the valuation office of the Inland Revenue in 1990 and cannot be changed.
